Welcome to the site. What should be immediately apparent is that this site is extremely diverse. I have tried to break things into different sites but for my purposes, it is just too difficult to do. And really, everything here falls under the umbrella "Mike Vincenti" so this really does make the most sense. Whether you're here because you're interested in me performing your marriage ceremony, or you're here for some Mac tips from an Apple Certified Technician or if you're interested in my many musical projects like the bands I'm in or the kind of music that I DJ at The Velvet Lounge, here is the one-stop place to quench your curiosity. Mac Tip: Stop printing!! Why are you still printing old-fashioned receipts and invoices? You have a computer. You are paying your bills online and you're doing your shopping online so why print a hard copy of anything anymore? It wastes ink, paper and time. It also now consumes space in your living quarters because now you must file that piece of paper that you just printed. And be honest, do you think that your filing capabilites are better than a computer? Instead, print a PDF.
Printing a PDF is really just saving a file. PDFs have been around for a long time so it is about time we take advantage of them.

Updates and News: 12/14/09

December 14, 2009: My band's LA trip has come and gone and now I'm looking forward to the gig at Long Island's famous The Crazy Donkey. There is a huge Arts/Music/Fashion show going on so it should definitely be a "cultural" time. But don't worry- Memphis Crawl will keep it all very grounded... and loud!

November 29, 2009: Thanksgiving has just passed, my band Memphis Crawl just got out of the studio and now we embark on our trip across the United States for a gig at the famous Whisky-A-GoGo in LA. Recording our first EP was a lot of fun and garnished some excellent results. Check them out at the Memphis Crawl website and tell me what you think.

August 25, 2009: I can't believe it- I'm off ALL this week. So I'm catching up on a lot of long overdue personal computer work which includes updating this site. Please check out the new Memphis Crawl page and take note of the event "Electron Synthesis" which is an evening that merges live acts with digital production. It is quite an event to be witnessed because seldom is it performed at all- let alone done well! Definitely check it out!
